  • Dredging S. Shore Cove

Folks be careful around the dredge working in between Jumbile and Shell Island cove. There is some marked pipe and some unmarked 6"-8" hose (which I ran over 200 yards from where they are working). There was no one to be seen on either the mother barge or tender but the latter was moving around dragging pipe??
I figure they are going to install geotubes across Shell Island (Ostermeyer or Rooster's) Cove and more work on Jumbile.

I saw that today. Definitely need to be careful around there. I wonder what new spots this project will produce.

Looked like they were filling the socks and closing off Jumbile. Like Kenny said-watch out, swing north of the dredge to keep from lines. Makes ya run in less than 3' of water instead of the 3-4' small channel.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Kenny thanks for update. I'll put out a notice to all FWE members.
