Ask Brad (Baby Tran Cat) if those guys are full of it. His BTC with 70 yammie likely would suck down, not slide through. I even stuck a JCraft 19' in ankle deep water behind Bird Island, but was able to unsuction bottom (no chines on that hull) and slowly lift and push to about 8" of water and blast out while 2 guys in an 18' Shallow sport were putting until almost 12" of water. hard sand sticks-some baloney going on over there as usual. Like Jerry said I have a Tran and mine is lighter than has and there is NO way it does that...if I am on plane I can run through a few inches for a REAL short spot but can't go far like that. That pic just looks impossible nor would ever even try...get stock in the pass area way too much as it is thinking the small boat can do more than she should!sigpicComment

Yeah, I was going to say after the hurricanes the past couple of years its completely wide open back there. Hardly any pot holes we used to hunt are still concealed god enough.Comment
