  • Water level in Wbay

Thinking about walking in late today, and was wondering how high the water level is today. Any info from bayside dwellers would be appreciated....still to cold to get wet.

Still to cold to wet wade I'd agree... Take a look at our Tide Tables. www.fishwestend.com

look on the right hand side and click West Bay Tides... (under important links) or... click here:

That's the reason I created this site to get all your information in one location before heading out to the bay!

Enjoy & post up a report when you get back in!

      Tides

Aren't the tables more of a prediction...I know when the highs/lows are, but many times the water is lower or higher than the prediction....I was looking for a little local knowledge....thanks.

You'll see both predicted & actual observations... We have two links to two different tide gauges.

Great link fishcatchr... as soon as I get my internet going at the beach house I'm going to put a tide gauge in my canal as well.

This might be helpful. Not every station has a tide meter.

I drove down to SLP about an hour ago to recon.

Water levels were about a normal high tide. Tide appeared to be getting higher.
Winds were from south about 6-8.
                    Very foggy.

                      Wbay

Walked into the fog around 6...4 fish all on corkies, kept one that swallowed the hook.

Wind was s around 5-10, water was in good shape, tide was high and still rising when I left. Got spooked when I couldn't see 50 yds and walked out around 7:30...never pulled out my compass but thought about it a few times...did I say foggy?? Definately a night when you needed to be comfortable with the area you were wading....it was freaking froggy!
