Dang, sorry to hear your laid up man ; hope you get to feeling better. Be real careful of food poisoning or Salmenella. This day & time, you just never know what is lurking in the wings trying to get atcha. Can't go this weekend, going to visit a biw in Temple VA hospital that is coming out of a drug induced coma. That was the reason I had to come in early last time I came down. I know it sounds corny, but yogurt & buttermilk help put the bacteria back in your system (if you can keep it). Take care of yourself & get better soon.

Just came out of bout #2. Got some meds but couldn't keep them down just yet. There's nothing left in me but water and gatorade. I went ahead and took another day off. Fever gone. Wondering what about Blockade Runners this weekend. I guess it will depend on how I feel tomorrow. Tres will be out there by himself Friday night and I do plan on going out Saturday, but not unless I'm well. Tom, y'all

Sandy take it easy once you start eating. You can make yourself sick. I think I started eating potatoes first and some bread. ICE COLD water or Gatorade tasted the best to me. I didn't have an appetite during or much after took me awhile to start eating normally again.

I was hoping to spend Saturday night out there and put the boat
                through it's night time paces.

Guys, Even if I don't make it, Tres will be out there all weekend starting on Friday. He could use a hand with the boat anyway. TMO should be bringing down wall/ceiling panels on Saturday. Any help would be good. Go getcha some therapy Bert. If you haven't met Tres, you need to anyway. I just got over one two days ago...it was 48 hours of hell. Couldn't eat/drink anything and it was coming out both ends. Stomach felt like it was in knots...Lord it was terrible.

Looks like I'm done with it. I still don't have an appetite, which in and of itself could be a good thing for me in the long run. I'm weak as a kitten. I wish I was at work, but I wouldn't last long. I'm definitely going in tomorrow. It's going to be a nightmare catching up with all the papers to grade. If tomorrow goes well, I'll be at the camp Saturday, but I'm sure I'll still be a bit weak.

Use the BRAT diet-bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Also get to doc and get some Phenagren (sp?)-pills and the opposite entry method (suppositories)-the rear entry method works almost immediate, especially if nothing stays down.

I've got some meds, but nothing that goes in that way. The thought of that is enough to make me sick again. BARF!

I really am feeling great as long as I'm still. Walking from room to room takes a lot of effort.
