Oh man guys. This hit me like a load of bricks when I woke up yesterday morning. I've missed 2 days of work now. This is the worst bug I've ever had.

I am feeling better. Make no mistake I've had bugs that lasted longer, but none this violent. I'm considering actually heating up some chicken broth, but the kitchen is so far away. From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

Sandy:
Same thing with my GF-two weeks ago she woke up with horrendous stomach virus-over 60 hours of pure heck, then it moved to lungs or she caught another bug. Good luck-keep the puke bucket close by!!! Hit the doctor-she has twice-stomach stuff ended after 3 days, but other immediately started. She's been fighting crud for 3 weeks now."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

There are dozens of kinds of "stomach flu" and most go away after a day or three ... if it lasts longer than that, go see the doc.
Living close to the Mexico border, we get all of it. The worst is Montezuma's Revenge, which gets both ends moving rather vigorously at the same time. Also, a common virus similar to Norwalk or "norovirus" has been going around, the "cruise line sickness." Bacteria such as lysteria and camphylbacter, and staph are also common.
Then we got some exotic ones like Vibrio, which is a problem in the warm season with shellfish such as oysters. Usually the Department of Health checks the oyster beds and closes them ahead of time. Folks, you don't want Vibrio - it can lead to paralysis, flesh eating bacteria, and even death. [Note on vibrio - don't go wade or surf fishing with an open cut.]
But wait there's more if you hang out on the waterfront! Ciguatera isn't common in the Gulf but most all saltwater fish carry some, and it's in high levels at the Flower Gardens reef. I got this before too, severe abdominal cramps and hot seems cold and cold seems hot. I swear, a hot shower felt like ice cubes!
It's amazing we all ain't dead.
But I hope you're back in the saddle right soon, chief.

Yep-helps ya build antibodies!! Actually, was 3 weeks ago she got crud-she was OK last weekend. My how time flies!!
I had it last weekend when I coughed and sneezed on ya and spit in your beer while ya weren't looking!! Don't worry, my doctor said he knows you and already cleared up your HIV/AIDS, so a cold aint sheeet for you!! Ha ha-J/K. Hey, let's fish this weekend-maybe go wake Moonpie in the Robalo, soak crabs, drink beer, drink more beer and then drink more beer and maybe, just maybe, catch a fish to go with the buzz.
Lemme know.Last edited by Robalo; March 10, 2010, 02:17 PM."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security.
