Entry Fee $100/ person
No professional guides please.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 4 places in each category consisting of heaviest Speckled Trout, heaviest Flounder and heaviest Redfish under 28” based on 100 entries.
Awards ceremony will be held on the afternoon of May 15.
Fished will be weighed between 5 PM and 7 PM each day by tournament personnel at a location to be named at a later date.

ENTERING FISH: Fish eligible to be entered into the Tournament are Redfish, Speckled Trout and Flounder. All entered fish will be legal according to Texas Parks and Wildlife. All fish must be caught on rod and reel. All winning fish shall be determined by weight. In the event of a tie, the fish that was weighed in first shall be declared the winner. If weigh-in times are identical, the person who registered for the Tournament first shall be declared the winner. All fish entered into competition must have been caught by the Participant and must be weighed, at a designated Official Weigh-in Station. No transfer of fish among Tournament participants shall be allowed. Fish must be weighed in within 24 hours of being caught. No fish may be weighed in after 1:00 p.m. on May 15, 2010. No frozen, spoiled, gutted, altered, or mutilated fish will be eligible for entry. Boundaries are the Galveston Bay Complex.

There will be a weigh station on the west side of Galveston and one on the Bolivar side, just not sure of the exact location of them yet.

No fishing guides allowed. Persons who presently or during the three (3) years prior to the beginning of the Tournament have acted as fishing guides or accepted payment for a guided fishing trip, commercial fisherman, commercial finfisherman, bay shrimpers, bait shrimpers, gulf shrimpers, bait shrimp dealers or who have held licenses issued pursuant to those chapters or pursuant to any federal law are not eligible. The nominal sharing of expenses by participants is not considered operating a boat for compensation. No hiring of fishing guides is allowed.
