  • Your Blockade Runners Invite Feb. 27&28

Headin' out Saturday, probably with VJER in tow. I plan on hitting the ramp at 10am. Ibtsoom will be showing up to get the wiring done that afternoon. There's more to do, but I'm not sure what we'll get to. I know we'll have to move a lot of stuff around and I could use some help ripping out more of the dry wall. There's not much of that left and with a few guys on it, we should make short work of the job. If anyone wants to do something skilled, we have to put the soffit up on the south side sometime soon. It would be cool to have everything ready for wall panelling soon.

I'll have a pot of red beans and rice, and probably a roast to throw on the BBQ. A boil will be on for Sunday as well. Might be able to get the lights out for some fishin' depending on the weather. So come on out if you've got the time. - Sandy

Sandy, Saturday looks pretty for me good right now. I'll let you know tonight for sure. What are you doing with all of the ripped out drywall? - putting it in some giant trash bags & hauling it out in the boat? just curious. I guess Ibtsoom has all the stuff for the wiring, eh? Anyway, I'll be in touch. Later

Sounds good guys. Yep Buddy, It kind of crumbles in your hands. I just fold it over and put it in contractor bags. Hauled 8 bags full out last weekend by meself. After the Ghost Camp, this is easy stuff. And yes, Ibtsoom will have all the electrical stuff we need. Things are lookin' good.

Well, VJER has some unexpected family commitments this weekend, so he won't be able to make it, but reeltime says he wants in. If anyone with a truck would like to bring 007 and his boat down, he wants in too, but not without his boat.

Everything is still on for wiring on Saturday and the soffit on Sunday. Looks like some fishin' time too.

Sandy, I'll plan to be at the ramp at 10am to meet ya & catch a ride. Not going to bring the boat this time. Pretty soon I'll be boat poor as I'm getting a wooden boat that my dad made. Let me know if I can bring anything. Can't spend the night cause I have a cpap machine so I can breathe when I sleep without choking.

Buddy, don't let that stop you. My dad has a cpap machine we run off an inverter and a 12 volt battery. You gotta tell us about the wooden boat. How does getting it make you boat poor?

Ok, 007 wants to come and does NOT require his boat to be with him. If anyone can grab him, you'll prevent me from having to go all the way up there to grab him. Let us know if you can. - Sandy

Sounds great Fuzzy, but I won't be able to bring his boat back because I'll have mine. So if I get this straight, you are going to bring reeltime and 007 down? I'll bring him back to Pasadena Sunday if necessary. Shoot me your number if you will so I can plug it in my phone. I'm headed out shortly to run to the grocery and Academy, but my phone will be on me. - Sandy
