  • Carolina Skiff?????

I know where I can get a 1995 21' Carolina Skiff w/200 Johnson Ocean Pro for probably $4500. It is in Good shape but will need a trolling motor and leaning post (near Future) and a jack plate sometime.
It will run 60mph (Faster than I want to run) and will run pretty skinny.

    What do you guys think?

This is the only pic I could get.

I like the boat a lot. The motor is wayyyy too much.

60 mph ...In a fiberglass john boat? You would want something with a keel to be able to turn it even running 40mph. I'd say keep looking...too many good deals right now on used boats.

it's still here, aint gone yet, not really PUSHING it, right offer comes, sorrybut IT'S GONE. The longer its here, the longer i use it.

these hulls can easily handle the extra 90lbs of the motor, BUT the power is not for a novice, and they dont turn worth a darn.

It would be nice to run 40 at half throttle. The reason this boat is only rated @115 is the turning issue. If the captain has half a brain it will be fine.

                              boom, 3000-3200 is 40-41mph.

with a 24p prop, it will spin up to 6200
