Great job on all those abandoned traps. We picked up one on a bird watching trip today too.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

      Day 2

We took a shot on the weather and went out again today. I got 15 more -- I guess that makes the grand total 38. I cleaned all of the rest that I could see out of Karankawa ( I'm sure there are some still in there that don't have floats anymore) and ran through Greens cut and picked up a few more out in the bay. I dumped em off at Fat Boys and made the trek once again to the car wash --- about 7 dollars later I think I got most of the gunk off the boat. I need to go back to work so I can rest.

        Crab Trap pickup

I was told that they crab trap cleanup was today (Sunday) I was there with my framed print and no one was there. Did they decide not to do it today?

Anyway, who brought in the most traps. I'll still honor my deal and give the top dog the framed print. Sorry I missed everything. I would have come yesterday if I had known.

You haven't missed anything. I think all the guys decided that next weekend would be better - that will be the concentrated effort -- guys that clean up in the mean time just post up the number of traps found to be eligible for the prize. So far I'm at 38 traps. The link below has the explanation.

by the way -- awesome print!!

I noticed that there were still some in Greens. I was in there today.

Who can I contact about the print? Someone was supposed to coordinate with me, but I never heard where to go or when. It looks like every thing happened on Saturday, I was told Sunday. I was at Fat Boys today and no one was there or knew anything about it.

If someone will contect met at my studio 713-977-4729 I would be glad to fulfill mu donation.

Awesome job Mike! I got one this weekend. Don't think I'm in the running, but it's the only one I found.

I spoke to Les I will be picking up the print today. Sorry for the confusion I knew that would happen and when I left Houston without my laptop I was done for. I had no numbers.

The contest continues until Sunday but good luck topping 38 traps lol. I'll grab the ones in Greens... Who is checking the South Shoreline???

I'm gonna try it again next Sunday. I'm hoping most all of them are gathered up by then. I saw quite a few in the middle of the bay the last time I ran to Blockade Runners -- might head that way. Think I might accidentally take a rod or two next time.
