  • 1st Flounder release for Galveston

It was a historic day for flounder conservation. Today we released approx. 3000 baby flounder into Galveston bay.

The release was filmed by TPWD, and photographed by chester moore (Tx Fish & Game) and shannon tompkins (Houston chronicle)

    This happened in Jamica Beach

This is a first peak into numerous articles and tv clipings.

Thursday there will be a release of 7000 flonder into Sabine.

Just last year we only had a release of 700 flounder in Sabine and none in Galveston.

The push for flounder conservation has started.

This is wonderful news! Bryan, you Chester the men and women of Sea Center all who volunteered and brought in live fish deserve all the credit. This is so great. Congratulations to all as we will ALL benefit!

Awesome. I'd like to lobby for the SLP area.
