Yes they are...it's a running(inside) joke. The coastal greenhead...aka hollywoods, aka bootlips, aka mexican paint jobs, aka smiling mallards, aka **** scoopers, aka spoonies, aka gimmes.

Redheads are seasonal...up here you're only going to get em the first couple of weeks(in any kind of regularity) before they hit the coast.

Cans...i know where they hang out on a few lakes, but i don't target them.

Come now! I'll take some big fat meaty divers any day. You can keep all those slow-flying thin-skinned gadwalls and mallards to yourself.

Love those divers, they are either coming all the way in or passing you, so none of that "we should have took 'em while they were circling BS" Then you get to swat the $%#@ out of them while they are on the water (unless you didn't carry extra shells with you cause you are a noob, who I won't call out here due to that person having beaucoup food ). Nothing like knocking a passing redhead out of the air and then blasting the chit out if it on the water.

Don't get me wrong, i use to beat those jacks(ringnecks) up when we were first getting started up here. Use to make me feel really good too, and they aren't bad to eat. Since being spoiled by the big ducks though...i haven't gone out and targeted divers in several years.

One thing about those big ducks though...you don't have to marinate them near as long or put near as much bacon/cheese on em either.
