Hello West Enders. I'm still alive a doing well. I retired a couple of years ago, and my wife and I moved to Anegada. We get back to Houston every couple of months to see our children, grandchildren and last (but not least) our doctors. We are usually very busy during our short trips to Houston, so I don't get to fish Galveston Bay very much. I will be in Houston for most of September (hurricane season in the Caribbean), so I hope to snatch up a few reds.
Here are a few pictures from the past couple of years:
An aerial view of our "neighborhood" that I took with my drone.

Kenny Chesney dropped in on us last November.

Our little whaler was featured as the picture of the day on Kenny's No Shoes Radio

Here are another two pics of it.

I have been fishing a bit. Last month, a friend of mine and I were out in "Got Rum". He was trolling a topwater bait over a reef in about 20 feet of water when he caught this nice little spotted grouper.

He also landed this cuda.

A couple of mahi that I caught while trolling.

My wife with a stringer that we caught off of the reef out in front of our house - hind, buttersock, and snapper.

We have been lucky enough to see a lot of green flashes over the past few months.

We saw green flashes on 5 consecutive nights in April.
To quote Joe Walsh, "Life's been good to me so far!"
