  • West End Marina and Restaurant

I was given a tour by Corey (Manager) of the West End Restaurant that's being remodeled.

I'll tell you this ----WOW!!!!! Looks FANTASTIC.

I remember when the entire marina was in shambles and falling apart about 20 years ago. JT has really improved the place.

I'm looking forward to when it's all done and I encourage yall to check out what's been done.

    Nice going JT-place looks great!!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I received a tour from JT himself. Very impressed with the renovations. Cannot wait for April 6th!

Would love to see some pics if they are available. April 6th will likely be my next time down there.

I was so impressed with the last round when they added the much bigger deck for the bar. Can't wait to see how it is this time. We really enjoy that place JT!

Good for business too, I hear women really like a bigger deck.

i wish they would re-open the ramp. It was a very convenient place to launch.

Why did they shut that ramp down? Was it because of traffic or is the channel silted in? I don't launch there so just curious.

Thanks for the compliments! The upstairs looks great. about tripled the size of and put in a new kitchen, all new electrical, plumbing, all new interior and exterior, cool windows I found in the Abacos that you can't break with a sledge hammer( supposedly and I aint about to test that). Put a big horseshoe type bar where the tables use to be.

The really cool part is we put up a huge palapa that covers the outside deck and a 65' x 10" wall with a muriel being painted by a very talented artist right now. Its under the palapa and blocks the Bote slips view towards the bait camp (nothing to view that way anyway).

Ive been hearing we will get it open in "2 weeks" since November 2019; but its close now. And Ed Claar in Sea Isle has done a great job of the remodel.

Steve A, I closed the bote ramp for a number of reasons....

Parking lot was being flooded every time we had a big tide.
it was a sorry a$S$ ramp anyway.
most people that launched there never came in to the store, restaurant, bar or bought bait from Steve Rushing.
many times they'd fill up the parking lot w trailers and park in front of the dumpsters. And park like a 3rd grader.
I think an out door bar with slot machines would look good there one day..lol

Did you get the pool table to rotate and flip over to a craps table yet?
