Going on RED SNAPPER trip in June, what is the best bait to use??

Cut squid is the best thing I've found it consistently catches fish. You may have to pick through some of the smaller ones to get to the bigger ones.

I've also used butterfly jigs pink is my favorite color and they catch big sows but you have to work them 2-3x as hard as you would a piece of squid...

Snapper slappers are good with a cut piece of squid as well.

Oh No not the endangered red snapper Bigger the bait the better. Easy way..I put 2 cigar minnows on a circle hook at one time..Harder way is like stated butterfly jigs. LOT of work. But most of all Have fun Offshore is a blast
