No Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie. Crab fisher on the bering sea in Alaska. He was on the show Deadliest Catch on the discovery channel.

R.I.P. Capt. Phil, you will be missed!

Man that's terrible news. I hope his sons are doing okay. I know he fought a blood clot last year that went into his heart he somehow survived.

            Phil Harris

Was sad to hear that Phil Harris passed. He was definately a character but had a big heart. dbarham you mentioned he was hard on his boys....yes he was but I will tell you this they will have character and become the men that their father wanted them to be. I don't think its bad to be "hard" on boys to an extent of course. I wouldn't say, "poor boys", I'd say "fortunate" boys for having such a stearn father these days no wonder kids are doing what they shouldn't be doing. You do see them wanting to follow in his footsteps....that says alot!!!!

RIP Capt. Phil you will surely be missed!
