Ok FWE members, post up and let us know your status after the storm.

My house (on the diversionary in Hitchcock) is fine. Water had another3 feet or so before it got to me. People 1/4 mile on either side of me weren't as lucky. My parents lost pretty much everything but the pictures on the walls.

I'm safe in Snug Harbor, Chocolate Bayou- I'm a cargiver for my father so I headed north last Thursday:

Stayed at my sisters place near Bear Creek@Hwy 6- it got hairy a few times as her street flooded close in her yard but we stuck it out. Came back yesterday to a blessing that my house did not suffer any damage. Neighbors at the end of the street and beyond were less fortunate. I've been helping any way I can with cleanup, salvaging, etc. with neighbors. My Canoe got a good workout by helping out animals/people near the shellhopper. My good friend had borrowed it. Fishing is going to be lame so, I'd figure there is work to do.

I am dry in Angleton. Just got a leetle bit in the garage. People and pets everywhere are hurting. Everyone west of me is losing so much every day. South of me too now. Doing what I can where I can. School starts again Tuesday for me, Wednesday for the kids. Lots of them will have been through a lot by the time I see them. I just hope I can help 'em out and teach them along the way.

I am dry in Friendswood. We did not even lose electricity! My Mother-in-law was not so lucky. She got 4ft in her townhouse she bought 3 months ago. They were trying to save on insurance and did not have content coverage... just structural... Lesson learned the hard way. Been cleaning their place out... I am wrapping this up soon. Anyone need help in Friendswood PM me.

I'm in Briargrove Park , I - 10 and Beltway 8 Memorial area , which backs up to Buffalo Bayou. We did fine but houses nearer the bayou flooded. Waters from reservoir releases are to cause a rise of neighborhood water but we should still be ok . It's a time consuming drive to get from one side of the bayou to the other.

It's all good. We lost some boards off the dock and a vent cover on the generator shed. We were very lucky.

Very fortunate at both our place in Sugar Land and Jamaica Beach. Dry and no damage.

We sit high in our neighborhood in Cypress and had water half way up the drive. First time flooding here I. The 10 years we lived here but 3 ft behind us the coast gaurd and boats were rescuing people. The day of tornadoes traveled in our path so had to hunker down in the bathroom a few times. But we are good.

Safe and dry in Houston. I've been using the gator tail to rescue people. I'm physically and emotionally worn out.

Coe, you and Jamin did some amazing and wonderful things out there. Thank you both for stepping up to the plate. I've always known y'all were good men and stuff like this confirms it.

Pasadena man here checking in from Conroe, Texas. Luckily I sit on top of 320 loads of dirt and suffered no water damage. My property acted as a Leavy and prevented my whole street flooding.

Glad to hear you're OK Sandy, as well as everyone else.

We were very blessed. Both our home in Copperfield and Bayou Vista did not have any damage nor loss of power.., again very blessed.
