yep big load of crap. for hire guys have more days so the group that pays for one trip a year has more privilege than the guys that own boats and contribute more to the economy and sport.

But that makes sense, so no way NOAA, Gulf Council (scumbag POS) and NMFS (Dumber than mud) would help any recreational fisherman-no money in those dirty, stinking, cheating, bribed scumbags pockets from Recs, only Commercials/Charters. I hope every charter sinks and every commercial sinks and the GC and its crooked members get a nasty-azz disease. But I hope no clients die, just the charter owners that pushed the 'special law' allowing Charters special quotas/rules.

Maybe we should play like Greenpeace-harass a charter and commercial. Cover up your reg numbers before doing that though.

        Bunch of damn crooks.

I say BOYCOTT ALL CHARTERS!!!! SCREW THEM-MAKE THEM GO BANKRUPT!!

"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Dump Blood in the water near any charter to attract sharks and screw up their fishing.

Wrong... contact your local representative! Ask them why they are not on this bill...

I think the way they set the recreational snapper quota is all wrong.

They do it by fishing licenses sold.
So pier fishermen , bay guys, yakers and waders are all having the quota distributed among them.
Why not have a free license for snapper. Just like you do for hunting sandhill cranes.
Then you would know the true number of snapper fishermen so the quota could be properly distributed.

Just a thought. Doesn't make sens that I'm being counted for the quota and I haven't been offshore in 5 years.

I'm not in favor of a new fee or license (you know how those seem to grow). Why not just ask if you fish for snapper or frequency (always, sometimes, never) when you buy your license then allocate that way. Also follow the advice by WestEnd Angler, I did it was easy. Thanks for the links Coe!
