July 8th - West Bay Slam Tournament & Fundraiser
Back again for our 9th year! We are pleased to bring you the West Bay Slam Tournament & Fundraiser
The fundraiser is again benefiting the Fisher House for Military Families. Fisher Houses provide military families housing close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.
Join us at the West End Restaurant & Sand Bar - 21706 Burnet Dr. Galveston, TX 77554 (Sea Isle subdivision)
We will be holding an opportunity drawing and live auction all benefiting the Fisher House.
This event is being underwritten by CastAway Rods. For more than 30 years, water anglers have come to rely upon CastAway’s handcrafted American made rods for every condition on the water. Fishing Tournament:
$80/ angler (up to 4 man teams)
$20 Side Pot - Heaviest Slot Redfish (Optional) - If 1 member on the team opts in, everyone must participate
Youth Division (12 & under) - $10/ angler

Live music will be provided by the Blockade Runners! The Blockade Runners are a unique mix of Texas singer songwriters that come together to provide a unique style of entertainment for West End Anglers events. All of the members that comprise the Blockade Runners are accomplished musicians with successful independent musical careers. With gigs across the state and their busy schedules, it’s always a gamble as to the who will be available for each event. Great entertainment and a unique mix of music covering almost every genre awaits! Come on out, have a beer and sing along!
