Hey clan, I fish the specktacular every year and I have not seen any updates on it this season. Tried to contact David Salinas and no dice. Has anyone heard of what is up with the series and the trophy trout series this season. They usually have the first of the series tourneys this time of year. If I have to do that rigged sorry speck masters again I will kill myself.

Dec 3 winter trout II I haven't seen any updates and I don't think Brent is doing his either.

The trout tournys have fallen off a bit this year. I really look forward to those.

Dates listed for Specktacular Series are: December 10th, January 7th, February 4th, and March 4th. There was one listed for November that got canceled so who knows if these will stay the same. Brent is not doing the Trophy Trout series this year. Like Coe said Dec 3 is the Winter Trout II and then the rest of his as well. Then there is Speckmasters, don't know what your talking about being rigged. I also believe there another series that is going to have a couple tournaments in the Galveston area and then some down south as well, but not positive on that.

Did they have a Speckmaster tournament series this past year? It looks like it's first tournament is the same day as the next FWE trout tournament. The dates, as DPOP said, are on their facebook page, but not on the website.

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out why 3 out of the 5 dates that they published are scheduled over our events. I am trying to talk to Geoff Austin who runs the events for Wade. Apparently they are working on changing some of their dates but I haven't heard anything definitive.

Rigged probably was not the correct word to use... We being the amatuers paid out a lot of money to compete in that series, we had a rash of bad weather which is fine, however, Mickey had all of our text numbers and when he extended the fishing day because of weather he posted it on FB instead of texting it to us not once but three times. So we missed out on a chance for a win on three occasions but made sure all of the persons on FB and the ones he knew got that info. Me personally I don't even have a FB page as I think its a waste. It just left a bad taste in a lot of our mouths. That's all so a large group decided if it was not going to be fair and handled as it is a big payout tourney we would not participate again. I met and spoke with at least 20 teams that felt the same way. Maybe it will be better this time around who knows but if we participate we will make sure to hold them to fire just as they would hold us. No harm no foul just get wiser.

Spoke with David S earlier and he got me up to speed thank though. We should see some bigger fish in December anyways. Hopefully.

Shot Brother you know I never miss one of yours, you run a well rounded and fun tourney. Love it.... We look forward to it every season big time. I got spanked on this last one though. The date thing really should be talked over by you guys, there are some of us that absolutely get trout fever and want to fish every one of them. Heck if I had 4 arms id be holding the net, drinking a beer, tossing a corky and chunckin a top water at the same time.
