Wading chocolate

Hey guys

thinking about getting out Friday. Was planning on wading around chocolate bay and drifting Just searching around try to learn the area better. East chocolate bay, north and south shorelines near the narrows down to alligator point looks pretty wadeable from google earth images. seems it may be more sand and shell around there then thick mud. Is this a correct assumption?don't mind getting in some mud but don't wanna get in crazy on solo trip.

Tough to navigate this area. I've never seen mud its shell and sand and I've been stuck good before.

Thanks for reply I was in there the last two weeks. Definitely taken it slow so I don't hit reefs etc idleing a lot.

South side from The Narrows (by the house) on down is s soft mud mixed with shell. That's some tough wading!!! Can be done but that is a softer area. Best wading is the east shoreline from The Narrows all the way up to Almerada Cut to New Bayou. And you can wade from New Bayou all the way west to the point. Once you go around the point it gets pretty soft again.

Is there really a reef under that far right shaded area? I've run that area a few times. Wondering if I just got lucky.

Yes, that shaded area is one big reef that lays out in front of the narrows. Normal tide your ok, but watch it on those low tide days. With the water temps dropping chocolate fixing to go off!!!!!

Where is the best place for someone to find these bull sharks if they were inclined to try and catch one?
