  • Launched at Watermans $10

Launched at watermans went out to the end of the channel, checked pirates reef, then tried the green cut channel to the ICW.
Then went towards crancawaa and it was whitecapping pretty bad, came back to lake como and found a pack of super hungry
and large croaker , to entertain us for the rest of the day, The good news is i have trails in that area now and understand
what those areas have to offer. Several over in greens lake, Wife did catch a nice sand trout at one spot .
We liked the doc area at watermans, the ramp is kinda hard to get started backing up in and the parking is a challange.
Had a great day , little sun burned , boat all washed down and ready for another adventure.

yes, thats exactly 1/2 of the GYB fees . I do not mind the fee's , that little bit helps the local economy . I was pleased to see the same guy
at the bait show that was there the last time i visited several years ago when I often camped at GISP next door.

That's pricey! I remember when it was $5 before new owners

Main guy at the bait camp is David. Someone said it is "Capt. David".

Another, younger, guy does the job when David is not there. Parking across the street is OK during the week. I don't know about the weekends. I don't mind paying. At least I think my vehicle is safe parked there.

Wish they would re-do the cleats (too small and loose) and pound in some of the rusty bolts sticking out at water level on the dock. If you are not in a boat, you probably can't see them. richg99

Cant David is there currently. $10... I'm totally fine with it for having that access point. Especially with a strong south wind and having access immediately to the south shoreline. I paid it twice last week.

I'd rather give my money to the State Park.

No BOAT launch in the state Park, though.
