Thanks Mack-where should I burn the shoreline or should I just run circles around Deer island and Conf. Reef/Greens and prove there's NFIC for anyone fishing? Greg and dPop are paying for my gas and filling my cooler with beer and gave me a CD of Rap songs-I have the wiffle bat and know where JT's anchor is.

Maybe go wade the southwest shoreline of Chocolate Bayou. I am new to the area so I went exploring and stepped of the boat there and boy am I glad I did not let go of the boat. That is quick sand. I sunk in the mud and filled up my waders. Are there any other places I should avoid like that?

I always recommend wading really deep in these conditions. Now you are probably asking "but Mack, how will I know what is deep enough?". The answer is simple -- keep walking deeper and deeper until your waders are completely full of water.
