So my 9inch stiffy blade needs sharping. Just not as sharp as it once was. Swiped it a few times on their sharping rod but mr redfish seemed to tough. Theres a place on the strand that says they can sharpen them. Anyone go there? Should i just chit can it and buy a new one?

Nope, don't pay anyone for something that can be done at home. Stropping rod won't put a new edge on it, you need a sharpening stone or soap stone."It was the Law of the Sea, they said. Civilization ends at the waterline. Beyond that, we all enter the food chain, and not always right at the top."
