ID:	576667Caught on a Mirrodine in Chocolate. Caught the weird fish in a cast net. Thought it was a Cigar Minnow but I'm not sure.

I recently caught two very large Lion Fish on soft plastics, after the first one I heard that they are a unwelcome predator fish to our waters and should be killed. Caught another in the same spot on the same wade the day after. He died a horrible death as they're a bit tougher than they look and aggressive.

Lionfish are excellent to eat - one of my favorites. Just cut the spines off with either a large scissor or a machete. We get lots of them in the Caribbean.

I can honestly say I have not heard of Lionfish in West Bay. Next time post up your spot and we will send Milkjug down with his spear gun to eradicate the bastages!

No kidding you eat them? I didn't even realize they where in our waters. I read an article and believe it or not the population has actually grown. They're where introduced from people releasing them from aquariums. In 30 years on West Bay I have never even seen one then I see two in two days. Weird.

Those would be the first Lion Fish I have heard of around here. Most likely you caught a couple Sea Robin. I have seen quite a few of those caught lately.

Goby's are bad. Silent Invaders... They spawn 3-4x a year.
