Went about 7:00, pulled up to a shoreline, maybe 100 yards out, hopped out and started catching trout. About the third fish a shotgun went off followed by a second shot... the skillet shot across the water. Pellets were hitting in front and behind me. I yelled "hey MF*****" and kept on wading away fishing.
So when I pulled in, neither of the two fellows signaled with a light, whistled, hollered, nothing. I would have parked somewhere else. Why don't people signal that they're there?
BTW duck hunters, I really haven't seen many ducks this year in mid-West. There's so much water standing everywhere that the birds just aren't coming to the coast. At least not yet.
