  • Rainbow Trout 1/24

Took the little one out yesterday and nailed our 10 trout at Crenshaw park. Seemed like we were the only ones having a good day. Saw a few other people catch a few, but I am sure we are the only people that got our limits.

Oh yeah. On a side note there were a ton of dead fish on the side. They looked like Tilapia, but I could be wrong. Every 10 feet or so on the shoreline of the windy side. They looked pretty fresh. I did notice they took all of the trees that were over the water and hanging in the water out. I wonder if that had something to do with it, or if maybe they put them in also and they just didn't make it. Also we caught a few little catfish and a guy next to us caught a huge carp.

powerbait. You need a 1/8oz sliding sinker a small swivel, 2# leader line and a size 16 trebel hook. Any changes to that will cost you fish.

I was going to her again this weekend and with my wife there helping it would be a little easier, but it is supposed to get cold and I don't want them all getting sick.
