  • Jamaica Beach High Tide Alert

It's way over the bulkheads and some boats are sitting in their sling in the water. If it gets higher some might float out or depending on the overhead clearance, get smashed against the ceiling. The ram & parking are half submerged. No water over Bob Smith...yet!

Thanks Kenny. I'll be down tomorrow, stop by the west end between 6-9 and I'll buy you a drink.

How's the tide this morning? Any flooding on Jolly Rodger side of J Beach?

Forecast are for tides to be 4 to 5 feet above normal on Sunday. That's probably
for the beech front. Hope it doesn't get that high on the bay side.

If it says 4-5 feet that's both sides.

                  High Tides

This is a pic from my brotheer's driveway looking towards the Jam Beach Boat ramp area which would be at far end of street. My house is down Jamaica Cove Road - more towards the flooding (lower elevation). My brother is checking my house today. No water got in his but came close (we are on the same street).

I'm sure my 110 Igloo and another cooler floated away-they were not tied down and were in my boathouse. I couldn't have made it down my street Saturday or Sunday.
