  • God Speed Richard

I just learned that Richard passed away today surrounded by his family and friends. He was a strong man and such a nice person. For those that remember he operated Richard's on the Bay which has now turned into the West End Restaurant. Prayers out to Richards family during this time. He is in no more pain.

I'm sorry to hear that Coe. I knew his condition was worsening. Richard was a very kind and gentle man, and served great food! He has suffered for a very long time with his ailment, and now is at rest and peace.

aww geez, Richard was a really nice gentleman and I will miss him. He always treated folks well and just was a good person-the world could use more Richards.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

When I bought the marina I constantly sought advice from Richard. I hung that caricature of him that his wife Kathryn gave me in the Sand Bar ice house 6 years ago.

Richard is the kind of guy I want to be buried next to. His memorial is at the Galveston Country Club Saturday at 3.
