Surfside parking

Can one park on the beach at the Surfside jetty ? The idea is to launch a kayak into the surf .

Aside from increased shipping in the channel and perhaps a few secure zones around the loading docks what exactly are you worried about? There is no effluent from an LNG plant. Pretty much no cleaner industry out there.

There is a parking lot at the surfside jetty. You can park and launch there or go to the boat ramp by the coast guard station and launch there.

GO over the Surfside bridge and park on the beach then paddle to the jetties. I caught trout two weeks ago in the surf. Wear your life jacket and keep your fish in the yak (away from sharks)
