  • Time to git 'er DONE! This weekend at Blockade Runners

Boys, it's time to Git 'er DONE!

I'll be out there from 10am Saturday to 4pm Monday. Any of y'all that can help out, come on. Saturday is looking a bit sketchy on the weather with scattered T-showers forecast. Sunday and Monday look great.

    The linup at this point:

Steve, the mostly absent partner is going out there tomorrow through Saturday afternoon. He'll do what he can, but he's by himself until I arrive on Saturday morning.

Saturday looks like just me and Steve so far unless I've missed something. Since the weather is uncertain, I don't mind at all.

Sunday Tres (TwoMack on here) will be coming down as will VJER who pledged to put in one day. Tres will be staying until we pick up on Monday. Fishnut from 2cool and Reeltime will probably be coming. WillieP and his chainsaw may make it as well, but I'm not sure which day. TMO and Fishbobr will be around, but not sure when yet.

Here's what we've got to get done. Piling nubs need to be cut down as close to ground level as possible. Platform needs to be chopped up into haulable pieces. Stuff has to be hauled off. We've probably got 3-4 loads of debris ready to roll.

After this weekend, there's only one more to get it all done, and there's no way to figure what the weather will be like then. So if you're inclined, please come on out. I'm sure I'll be actively recruiting folks at the meeting Friday night.

Coach, trying to rearrange some stuff for an all dayer help on Sunday. Got to work Saturday. Think I can catch a ride from the ramp?
Not going to make the meeting Friday night, maybe the next one...
I'll let you know tomorrow about Sunday.

Sounds good SCHU! A ride from the ramp is never a problem.

Sandy I can't help this weekend. I'll be doing tractor work for the War Memorial project this weekend. I do hope you the best of luck. Remember all I need to do is order the cannon fuse and I can take care of your problem........

I'm bringing the Gator-Tail down on Saturday to scout some new areas to hunt Sunday morning and mark the obstructions that can put a kink in my morning.... I'll be down to help out and mess around I do want to run some areas so I'll be able to make a few trips (loads) count me in as of right now. We'll work out details Friday at the meeting hopefully you'll make it Sandy.

Looks like we'll have enough folks to do it all! It'll be good to see you again Walker. Tom, if you come down Friday, Steve will be out there by himself. You can ring him up if you like. Coe, just give me a call when you might make it over. No assistance will be denied. I'll definitely be at the meeting on Friday.
