July 11th - West Bay Slam Tournament & Fundraiser

The 7th Annual West Bay Slam Tournament & Fundraiser has been finalized.

We are proud to have Hook Spit Fishing Gear as our title sponsor for this event. We appreciate their support of this tournament & fundraiser.

We are raising money for the Fisher House Foundation. If you are not familiar with them, please take a minute to read this one page fact sheet. They provide a much needed support structure while our military heroes are receiving treatment.

Fishing Hours: 6:25 AM - 4:30 PM (Adult & Kid Divisions)

Weigh In: 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM at the West End Restaurant & Sand Bar (Sea Isle)

Fundraiser: Noon - 5:00 PM

Live Music will be provided by some or hopefully most of the Getocowboys and the lead singer from the Dirt Road Band, our own Mike Stephenson.

Take a look at the boundaries... It extends West of the Causeway Rail Bridge all the way to the SH 332 bridge in Freeport/ Surf Side. There's an area you're not allowed to fish within the boundaries but other than that you're pretty much allowed to go anywhere inside the lines.

We have over 75 entries so far... Another 15 that I know of bringing the potential total up to almost 90 total anglers + kids...

That's just what I know of... There are others we haven't accounted for that always register the day & evening before.

Looks like we'll have a full payout... 1st paying close or over 2,000 and 2nd & 3rd paying over $1,000 each
