Wallisville is a nice smooth 45 min drive for me from my house to launch. Coupled with a 30 min boat ride up river from the locks to get to Charlotte Lake.

Dang, I had a great time meeting people at the last one -my first- but Friday looks like the best day to fish East Matagorda so I won't make it. I'm taking KEY LIME KAYAKER , my old pal who never wades anymore-just yaks, so it's a rare chance to lure him into my boat. I'll post up Sunday or before. Ya'll have a great time and I'll look forward to some stories come Saturday on the site !!

Jeez, I started the post, and now realize that I forgot I have batting practice to coach tonight. Depending on how it goes I may show up after 730.

Have you been before? Its the section (as you walk into Hooters and the girls greet you) it will be on your left facing I-45 Frontage Rd... We always sit in the back there and try and take a least 4 tables... Just grab and spread out lol... I should be there a little after 5:30... Not sure if I have to pick up Mike yet or not.
