2010 Trout Tourney Results
Thanks to Mike Boston (007), Cody Holman (Blackbeard) & Bailey Campbell (BeachBumBailey) for running the weigh in.
I think people liked the idea and made it entertaining having to release the fish alive and in good condition. (Able to swim off)
We don't make any money in these tournaments its never been my goal and we are strictly a site run on the support of our sponsors and those that choose to donate a little to the site.
We are going to toss another Tournament in on our schedule on / or around Memorial Day Weekend. I think were going to try a blackjack tournament with all 3 species (Trout, Red & Flounder) closest to 21" without going over. Details are still being put together...
Upcoming in February - March is our 2 month long Black Drum Tournament CPR (Catch Photo Release) this will be our 4th year hosting this one and its determined by length of fish with a new color code each week and pictures needed to document successful release and tape measure.

We had a great turnout, 53 entries 24 teams participated. Out of the 24 teams 9 made the weigh in deadline. The bite turned on late with the hard outgoing tide. The winners are as follows:
3 Fish Heavy Stringer:
1. Dos Pescadores 15.1 LB
2. Reeltime 13.6 LB
3. Explorer21 12.3 LB
4. SKAII 11.7 LB
5. Troutslayer 11.2 LB
Cameron Plaag brought in a 20 7/8" trout to take the side pot.
6. Jamaica Beach Pirates 10.5 LB
7. Okuma 10.4 LB
8. Plan B 9.5 LB
9. Team Mystik-Kailuum 8.1LB
22 live trout were released alive and in good condition.
We paid out a little over $2,300 and it was by far our best turnout for any tournament we've hosted to date.

. Just playing mike! Here is the funny part, I had too many coolies afterwards and ended up washing the check we got for 3rd! Oh well, it looks a little rough, but the bank should cash it.
