  • God Speed Capt. Jesse Arsola

Capt. Jesse Arsola was called home last night. His love of fishing, infectious smile and knowledge touched many. If you had the opportunity to meet Jesse you'll know this first hand. His pain & battle is now over and he will be looking down on us all from Heaven.

I was fortunate enough to be considered his friend. I was also fortunate enough to have visited with him the last two days while he was in hospice. He was one of my best friends and I will never forget him! RIP my friend!!!
Here are some of our better trips over the years! Whether duck hunting in Oklahoma, or wading East Gorda to Baffin...we always had fun!

May he rest in peace, and condolences to his family. Monty, I am truly sorry for your loss, and rest assured that Jesse loved and appreciated all the good times you spent together in the outdoors, and especially the time and your care of him in his last days.

Thanks Kenny...it wasn't anything that he wouldn't have done for me! The out pouring from all his friends was astonishing...the man knew everyone, and everyone was his friend. It really was evident these last few weeks!

Rest in Peace and may your fishing in Heaven exceed your catches made on Earth.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I've been through this before...actually multiple times. You get about getting on and remember the good times. Jesse told us Sunday, don't be down on my problem, but celebrate...go fish, have a good time to remember me by! Those might not of been his exact words, but it's what he wanted...no crying, just laughing and having fun....that's what Jesse was about anyway!
