1976 Chevy pick-up custom deluxe 6 cylinder with 3 on the column. Drove it for 15 years with 105,000 miles. My dad gave me his 1977 Chevy 6 cylinder pick-up before he passed away. It had 65,000 miles with 22 years when I sold it. Lord Bless.

My first NEW ride is too embarrassing to post. My wife still makes fun of the car from time to time.

I traded in the little green POS for a new Chevrolet Tahoe in 2003.

1970 Ford Maverick. 1995.00. Then I joined the union, gave it to my little brother and bought a new '73 cougar xr7. Gold with snake print vinyl top. Only one in Brazosport.

55 6cyl Chevy Coupe for 100.00 and banana peelings and sawdust in the rear end. Drove it for 3 days and walked to work once again.
Next was a 57 Chevy without a headliner but had good tires with mud grips on the rear and fed cows out of the trunk with it full of bales of hay. That was when I was 15 and had my drivers license at 14.
Bought a new 69 Nova in 69 and drove it until my young BIL ran it into a ditch in 73. Payments were 65.00 and had to work 3 jobs to make the notes.

1974 Dodge Pickup 225 slant 6 and three speed. That's where I learned how to fix stuff with the 6 clutch jobs and one tranny I had to do. I got real good at changing clutches and pressure plates. I been fixin stuff for a living ever since. Dad gave Me that truck. The first one I bought was a 73 Ford Ranchero in 76 that had a 351 Cleveland with a 3 speed auto that would fly. I'm lucky to be alive also.

1968 Tan VW Beetle $1576.00 drive out price. I put $500 down still had $48 a month note. It would eat Ford Falcons for Lunch in the short run! I got it up to 90 mph on the down slope over the Trinity River on I-10.
