Today sucks. Packing everything away for the 6 weeks we will be in Houston. Leaving tomorrow morning on BVI Pirate Airlines flight BR549.
We spent yesterday afternoon sitting under a seagrape tree with a dear friend, and a fisherman's fisherman - Kenneth Faulkner - putting away a few bottles of wine.
Kenny is not only a fisherman - he is a boat builder. He has built 30 so far - all of them "working boats" for fishing.
I am trying to talk him into building the next one - a flats skiff - with me as his apprentice boatwright.Walker
