It wasn't bad in Galveston. Looks like Webster & Clear Lake got the brunt of it.

I was in between Onalaska and Trinity the last three days visiting with my fresh water gear and it rained the whole time. Never wet a hook. Got home to TC yesterday and same thing here. Coming through San Leon was a bad rain. Reel time, you o.k., bro?

No Gage but at least 3" in Manvel. Major flooding on I-45 feeders from NASA 1 to Eldorado, according to Ch 11.

I have a dehumidifier too! let me know Sandy.

I noticed this morning I have water coming in from the vent hood for my gas heater... I have calls into Deano and we are talking. Hopefully I can get it patched!

I've got fans going on it and the A/C on. Water would never have made it in, had not the moron with the big truck run through the water at about 25mph. Came through the front door and especially all over the garage. It was already well into the garage when Billy Bob Idiot came running though, but I don't think it would quite have made it into the house if not for him. These are the same idiots that wake you in the bayou. I wiped it all up and set fans on everything. I'm more worried about the garage cabinets than anything. Actually, I'm more worried about what might be to come, just looking at the radar. Our ground is super-saturated.

I'll ask for a de-humidifier if I get home and things don't look like they're coming along. Thank y'all for your offers of help.

Ok, I might have killed my dryer putting that many towels in it. The good news is my front room seems ok, just a lot cleaner now. The garage on the other hand really got soaked good. I don't think a dehumidifier will help in the garage. I'd just be pulling water out of the earth's atmosphere. Hmmmm, we need a REALLY BIG dehumidifier! I'm ready for another round after I get 2 more loads of towels dried. Poor folks down the street got water all in their house. My neighbors saw the jack butt in the truck and don't think he lives here. They heard him going all the way around the cul-de-sac and they think he was sightseeing! Their garage got trashed by the wake too, but it was worse because their door was open.
