I'm sure you can get a thermometer that will read water temp in the canal, but Alex is right. The temp varies greatly especially in West because of the large amount of shallow water and difference in bottom.
The station at Eagle Point is probably the closest though.sigpic

Just got off the phone with a buddy of mine while he was on the water yesterday he found 42 degree water on the south shoreline and 51 degree water in areas along the back lakes on the northside. So where you launch and fish can be miles apart...sigpicComment
