...nice ride and congrats Derek! I had a Skeeter almost just like that one with a built JohnnyRude 140 on her back in the day. Ran like a scalded rat and when crossing from San Leon over to East Bay when the white caps were showing she would just sit on top of the swells. Good dry boat.
Does that hull have the flat pad under the transom as mine did? It made all the difference in the world when I would hit 70 or so as the ones with the "V" there tended to get the chine walk going when at speed.
Congrats once again on the new ride! I'll see you down on Hall's soon I hope.

Okay. Not too much sparkle is good. But that painted trailer . . . . tut tut tut.
Seriously, congrats on your new ride. Whatcha gonna do with the old one?
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

She is not completely flat, there is still a little bit of a V back there.Originally posted by Cuda340 View Post...nice ride and congrats Derek! I know the painted trailer won't last too long if I start putting here is salt. Wonder if I could get an aluminum trailer that is similar and painted the same color. The deal with momma was to sale the Cajun and it will be a sad day to see her go. I'm stalling a little because my son wants her really bad but really can't afford her with the new house. Told him to have the granddaughter to ask for the boat and that grandma might just give it to her....Originally posted by coachlaw View PostOkay. Not too much sparkle is good. Thanks Y'all!!
All good things must come to an end I guess..... Went to TPWD yesterday and transferred the titles for boat and motor no problems, however when I went to the DMV to register the trailer I found out that the guy I bought it off had never registered into his name. He stored it at the lake and never towed the boat. So the one thing I didn't think about came back to bite me. If he can find the bill of sale from when he bought it then they will let me register it or I'm going to have to pay for a copy of the last registration so can contact the previous owner to see if he will sign some form. So either way, I won't have a registered trail by this weekend which sucks!!Pro Staff - Bounty Hunter Turbo Buzz, Creme Lures, New Pro Products, & K9 Fishing Fluorocarbon
