  • Frozen Fish

This is what was in the diversionary behind the house this morning -- drove around to see how extensive it was and it seemed to be limited to about a 1 mile stretch or so. Didn't see anything at the Harborwalk bridge or the 2004 bridge. Didn't see anything other than mullet.

Is that all Mullet in the pic? I couldn't make out a trout or redfish. Still got one more night to make it out of the woods.

Yep -- all Mullet. Didn't see any other kind of fish at all. My heart sank when I looked out the window this morning. I remember seeing huge trout and reds the last time the canal froze when I was a kid. Hopefully they all sensed what was coming and took off for deeper water.

Guys, things are definitely looking up today. It's 41 and sunny at my crib in LC, so we look to be heading towards the back side of this thing.

I am considering hitting it for a couple hours before the football game tomorrow.

                              Survivors

Took these this afternoon -- the surviving mullet were up taking in the afternoon sun.
