Anybody know if there is any water left in the bay???? How low is it???? This north wind is kicking butt.

Willie, I just checked the Eagle Point bouy, and it's not as bad as you might think. Water level is about 2 foot below, water temp is 40.8, air is climbing and at 30.1 currently, wind is NNW at 12 knots gusting to 17.

Everybody start rubbing some sticks together so we can keep some heat out there. Looks like we should skirt the disaster on this one. Yeah!!

I'm considering going out in my kayak and taking pics of reefs and finding some guts today/tomorrow. I just need to man up! lol. You can really learn a lot on these low tide days.

I was thinking about doing the same thing. You can't lauch a boat under the kemah bridge right now and the lagoon is almost empty. I was going to walk out there to see if I saw any fresh flounder beds, but had to get to work.

Why not take the mud boat and go play in flats

Don't fall out!!!!!! You might be well advised to wait until Sunday, I think the wind should settle by then. If it's too choppy, it will be tough to see. I walked a day last year that we made it all the way out to Confederate. I'm only 5'10". Pretty scary and very enlightening.
