I remember wading with Aqua Pimp on a bluebird day in March. We fished west bay and waxed em. In my experience it makes for a tough bite but you never know till ya go.

when you lay down for a short nap, you wake up feeling like you have the flu---if you wake up.
now, you could always be like Kenny and go to bed before the sun sets on the couch watching reruns of "As the World Turns","GET OFF MY REEF!"

Well heck , JT you can keep THE SANDBAR open all night and fish from the bar's deck overlooking the marina . Invite a friend ( me ) to conjure up some nachos and cheeseburgers to sustain you all night .Originally posted by JT View PostOK FLAPPER.. What do you think...If a guy hangs out at a bar until about 2 or so, should you take the chance of quick nap and risk the possibility of sleeping till 10am; or just stay up and have another drink or two and wait till 3:30 am?GEORGE A. I think me, you and AP fished on one of those bluebird days in March about 7 years ago. That was the day AP was 2 flounder shy of having a Texas Slam with limits (10 trout, 3 reds, 8 flounder); and that was when the flounder limit was 10.Originally posted by TTU Wader View PostI remember wading with Aqua Pimp on a bluebird day in March. LOL Two days in row I walked out of the honey hole about 15 years ago with 3 limits in the month of March. I couldn't pick up my stringer either day to put it on the tailgate of the truck lmao. Those were the only two days I ever caught my 3 limits. back then I was throwing a bone top dog early and a Hogie major minnow the rest of the time root beer/chart. Good Times!Originally posted by JT View PostI think me, you and AP fished on one of those bluebird days in March about 7 years ago. I have to agree that the bite is very early in the morning on blue bird days. I used to put my yak in Gal St Park @ 4am and catch fish until the sun came up. I would stay for hours longer with the thought in my head, "I should have left after that last fish"…...Fishwhisperer

Just rode down to the dike ( 5 minute drive from the house) to do a little recon. Two waders in the pocket on the channel side, waist deep, probably 20 in lawn chairs on mosquito and one brave soul 400 yards out on dollar reef at the color change. Tide way out and water a bit off color.

Thanks for that recon report , Harvey . I had thought of dragging my kayak out today but was dissuaded by likely low off color water . Instead I decided to stay home and make fajitas with pico de gallo ... HAR! But , I need the exercise more than the Tex-mex .GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO.
