Development has ceased out in Harbor Walk awaiting funds from bank I'm sure legal ramifications will be involved, they are still open just on a skeleton crew and not selling slips and memberships until they figure out what's going on... Keep yall updated as I hear more.

Here's the financial crisis hitting home right here guys!

1st- Teakwood Marina last year after Ike
2nd- Pirates Marina last year after Ike
3rd- Sea Isle - being sold
4th- Harbor Walk - bank stopped flow of funds to project

It's going to get worse what with the idiot government giving away billions of dollars on useless carp, signing away our liberty at Copenhagen, stiffling growth with cap and trade , and raising taxes !! I got a notice that the Texas Workforce Commission is significantly raising my tax ( and every other business ) because of running out of funds due to unemployment benefit give aways.

Legal battle we'll see what happens... Before Harbor Walk it was tough getting gas on West End. I remember my grandfather bringing gas down in 55GA drums to fill up his boat we'd pump them out and into the boat. What a chore! I might just setup a barge in West Bay and make it a "hang out" Gas, Restrooms and Bait for Jeremy

Maybe they should consider opening up the marina, store, and bait camp to the public. That in a nice place and I would use it in the winter if it was open to the public. Could draw extras revenue

Coe, set up a movable barge fuel dock, bait and convenience store and you would be a happy man. You can park it right next to the oyster boats this month and move it over towards East Bay in the summer. The fishing community spends a ton of money on gas, snacks and beer.....
