It's time for some unadulterated bashing on the Ghost Camp. Thanks to 007 and Kylie the superstructure is down on the pad, so safety is not such a worry anymore.

I will have a couple guests out for a test ride on the soon to be sold Gray Ghost on Saturday, but aside from that, it will be Ghost Camp busting at its finest. If anyone wants to spend the night Saturday, I've got 4 beds and 2 cots, plus 3 heaters ready to roll. We'll be hacking and hauling. We're down to 4 weekends left to get this done before the big deadline. With the unpredictable weather this time of year, it's important to use great weather weekends like the one upcoming to get the job done. So if you have the time and the inclination, please come on out and give it all you've got. - Sandy

Yep, I thought that might be the case Tom. It's going to be warmer Saturday than Friday, but I think all our heaters will get a workout. The wind will really be down come Sunday morning. I'm thinking hot cornbread for breakfast for sure.

You might need them in Conroe, but not down here. Come on down, it's warmer in the bayou.

That would definitely be a concern with your boat Willie, unless you'd want to bring your son's boat again. It might not even be necessary for you to bring your boat, but it sure did come in handy last time . The winds are going to be dying down to 11 out of the North on Saturday, and down to 5mph out of the East on Sunday. Sunday really looks like a fantastic day. If you'd rather come down on Sunday, I'm sure there will be plenty of water and I could give you a real time report on the water level that way.

I'm going to push the launch time on Saturday to noonish to let it warm up a bit.

Do you turn in the old beer cans at the recycler? Looks like you could pay someone to haul that away just from the scrap value of the beer cans.

Don't worry RonE, all beer cans are picked up after each mission. Too bad you can't make it Kylie. Just try to make it out one of these weekends. We'll be chewing on that thing until the deadline I'm sure.

If I can't get anyone to spend the night out there with me, I'll probably just make 2 day trips. I hate to do it, but it ain't a good idea to be out there alone. TMO will be making the day trip with me on Saturday, as will the fellow that is checking out the boat. So if anyone wants to spend the night, let me know ASAP so I can make plans. I know 007 would be all in, but he's got to see if he can get all his work done before he can commit.
