  • Vitamin D

I have been experiencing some severe body aches and pains over the last couple of years and have always talked to my doctors about it when ever I had a check-up. The last check-up I really gave the doctor an earful about my problem. To make a long story short he checked me for vitamin D deficiency. Low and behold my reading was low, 29. The normal reading is 30 to 100. I have started taking a vitamin D supplement and my muscle aches have been reduced dramatically. I can actually get out of bed now without walking like my knees and back are rusted-up. For a long time I chalked my condition up as getting old. So, the next time you go to the doctors office you might want to get checked for it. It has made an incredible difference in my life.

Man, thank you for this topic. I've got pain in both shoulders every morning when I roll out of the bunk. I think it's diabetes and thyroid medication my doctor prescribed causing it and a lor-tab is in order if I want to fish early morning. Is the vitamin D supplement prescribed or over the counter? Thanks!

If you have NeTFLIX, check out Forks and Knifes. It's a real eye opener. Hope it's helps. Lord Bless.

You might want to get your blood checked first. You can take to much of vitamin D. I got mine at The Vitamin Shoppe. Get a good brand.

              Wow...That's great news for you.
              Lots of Doctors "practice" medicine.
Was your pain only in the muscles or did you also have "joint" pain??

It was all over. It was very pronounced above the knees and lower back. I had ACL replacement 30 yrs ago and have no cartilage in my left knee now. My knee start barking after I have been on them for a while….
I hope you guys don't think my case says Vitamin D is a cure all. Consult your doctor like I did and ask for a specific blood test for vitamin D deficiency.

I don't take any prescription medicine, just supplements. I would recommend Cat's Claw for your prostate.

After I made it through the late sixties and seventies, I wouldn't hardly take an aspirin. Now I gotta do what I gotta do.
