Oh yeah Coach I cleaned up that bottle to the best of my ability and it's a Pepsi Cola bottle made in 1958. I put some water with food coloring in it and then emptied it.

What is the story behind the cola bottle?

In my exhausted state yesterday, I failed to mention that Robalo, Explorer21, and Donna came out as well. They also lent a hand and provided needed tools as well as fuel for Primer.

That's really cool about the Pepsi bottle. Back then was when Pepsi gained popularity because they offered twice the cola for the same 5 cent price. People would actually save Coke bottles and buy Pepsi for guests. They'd empty one Pepsi into 2 Coke bottles and serve them to guests.

Gotta thank everyone again who has ever lifted a finger at the place. Every swing of the sledge, stroke of the saw, and pull of the crowbar came to fruition with that superstructure dropping. Above and beyond everyone I can't help but throw out the highest praise for 007. Through it all, I questioned some of the routes taken shaking my head. He figured it all out. Of course there's more to do, but we gotta take a little time to revel in a victory like this.

That is a cool bottle, you need to keep it at the camp.

Nah, it was Primer's find and it belongs to him. I would have chunked it in the trash. The boy's got a good eye. Kylie has a brass light fixture he's going to fix up that I was going to toss as well. Should be cool looking out on the porch.

I thought about the light as well but decided against it lol. If you want the bottle for BR for memorabelia(sp?) you can have it, otherwise it's gonna collect dust in the garage with the old 6 pack of rc bottles.

Grats Sandy. I wish I could have come out sooner, but home duties take my spare time. However, I will try my darnest if it looks like you are going to have trouble making the deadline in Feb.

Of course I wouldn't miss the party. May have to even take on Mike, but he'll have to drink to-kill-ya, not beer.
