I like the smell . I've never had a real fireplace , just gas , but , I fondly remember such ones in winter with snow silently falling outside in British Columbia during the 1970's .GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO. L, 1 ST TEXAS INFANTRY, HOOD'S TEXAS BRIGADE, C.S.A. : S.C.V.

Naw , college days visiting my first wife's Canadian relatives . British Columbia was pretty fine in winter and summer for a young flat lander like myself . First real snow , mountains and realization that one can be outside in summer and not break a sweat . Har!GEORGE A. BRANARD, COLOR SERGEANT, CO.
