    I like the smell . I've never had a real fireplace , just gas , but , I fondly remember such ones in winter with snow silently falling outside in British Columbia during the 1970's .

          I'm in Huffman on a job , be home this weekend . I should have some cured stuff left . Man it's been good I've been swamped been threw prob 5 cords already .

              Naw , college days visiting my first wife's Canadian relatives . British Columbia was pretty fine in winter and summer for a young flat lander like myself . First real snow , mountains and realization that one can be outside in summer and not break a sweat . Har!

                  I converted mine back to wood and I use the gas to light the wood. Then let the wood burn.. Im about to pour up a crown reserve

                    I was up in Illinois for technical jet engine school from 1975 October 28 thru 1976 February 4. It got 40 below one day. It was cold. Nice to be back in Texas. Lord Bless.

                              I'm in the rv , dang I wish I was at home with a fire ripping out side at my house with my burn barrel hat on !!!!!
