  • Big trout?

Ok this time last year is when I caught my big girl.I was fishing with my son.He caught 2 20ish trout when we got there.I fished 3 hrs without a bite. Then I caught my 29" trout. So how long have you folks grinded without a bite knowing(thinking) fish were there.

Each year (exactly) on the day before the Star Tournament from 2005-2008 is when I caught my 3 largest trout. All on fly. All from my dock in the canal. 29" 31" 33"

This year I caught hard heads

Coe, here' s a funny one for you.... someone who lives in your neighborhood actually won the old Pirates Beac winter tournament one year witha fish that he caught under his dock. to make things even more embarasing to all the hardware guys, he caught the fish on a double drop rig with a dead something or other. Fish was about 9 pounds. SICK!! You got lots of fish in those canals, I've caught a few.

I will usually sit in an area for several hours without a bite if I know they are there.

About 30 minutes, then AMF (Adios My Friend).
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Capt. Steve,

It is funny you brought that story up. The person you are speaking of was my neighbor Mike Cummings. He caught that 9 lb. plus trout right before the John Alex Winter Trout Tournament was almost up. He would tell me that during the really cold time of the winter, early in the am, like 3 or 4 am he would walk out on his deck and see a school of what looked like baby Tarpon swimming around his lights. They were actually XXL Trout. He took cut mullet and would toss it out when they came around, hence him winning the tournament. He said they would only come in for short period. Lucky him

Albert and I both have 900lb feeders filled to the brim w/ food that feed the fish in the canal we share We also have some discharge of warm water from a heating element which keeps the trophy trout right near our docks

                          Jeremy,

I am not avoiding the subject about chumming, but I simply cannot retain all of the valuable information you provide to me. It is clearly somthing that your good at, which as evidenced by this picture.
Look, Jeremy "to each his own".

I prefer to go after big winter trout.

I do remember Albert beating out a Marine and the other 3 contestants at Hooters a few weeks back INCLUDING yourself Jeremy! It would be safe to say Albert can do the most push ups with a HOT girl on his back than any of us other guys there that night!
