  • Blockade Runners Saturday through Tuesday

Get your keesters out there y'all. Not sure about anyone else, but it looks like FlatoutFishin' will be joining me Sat/Sun. Going to put out some Christmas lights. Going to be a good time for sure. If any of you can make it on any day, let me know. The weather looks great, chilly at night, but we've got heaters if you want to stay. Bring a little food and a sleeping bag. I'll be bringing out some ribs, stuff for a boil, makings for my big breakfast, and I'll probably bring out some redfish slabs for redfish on the halfshell. Duck hunters welcome.

Mornings and afternoons for fishing and hunting, daytime for yankin' on the Ghost Camp. Yes we have a TV and radio for football. I'll even be bringing out the color TV.

As usual, I'm happy to pick boatless folks up at the ramp at SLP. Hoping to have someone out there with me every day.

We're in Titlum-Tatlum, only camp on the Mud Island side, in the exact spot where blockade runners would load cotton from barges that brought it down Bastrop Bayou and across the bay.

Sandy, do you have time to come by the house in Magnolia tomorrow evening to pick up the couch and chair? I will be there from 3:00-6:00 if you can make it out there.

Mike, TMO's buddy can make it there easier than I can. I'm supposed to be picking up the Mudda tomorrow. We're planning on storing them at TMO's warehouse until we're ready for them. I'll send him a PM and see if his friend can do it. Thansk! - Sandy

So far, I'm in for Sat and Sunday.
I don't know why but I'm really looking forward to tearing the old place down.
Let's get it done and over with, it's past time.

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

You said it Bert. I can't wait for my invites to involve more fun and not so much work. Great to have you on board.

Tom, just give me a holler and if it's a go, I'll put you in touch with EX21. - Sandy

It's 1.1 miles (GPS) from the launch to the camp and the parking has never been a problem. We'll probably even taxi you in if you don't want to paddle back.
